• Prepare weekly, quarterly, and yearly plans.
  • Create design plans for mine dewatering, waste dump, ore stockpile, pit design, and haul road design.
  • Ensure mining activities align with the short-term plan.
  • Ensure target achievement and analyze the sensitivity of production progress to equipment productivity and adequate operational management.
  • Possess the ability to perform pit optimization to determine the optimal and economical mining blocks.
  • Ensure mining activities follow good mining practices.
  • Develop equipment estimation plans, critical cost estimates and analyses, and create a financial economic model for mining.
  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Mining Engineering.
  • At least 3 years of work experience in Nickel Mining.
  • Certified in POP, holds a SIM A, and is capable of operating an LV.
  • Able to operate Mining Software (Surpac, ArcGIS, MineSched, AutoCAD, Global Mapper).
  • Understand the nickel mining process, Cut & Fill projects, as well as fleet matching calculations and unit work efficiency.
  • Willing to be placed in the Solomon Islands with a 20:4 roster system.
  • Possessing good English skills, both written and spoken, is a plus.
