- Preparing Short-Term Plans to support ongoing mine operations and specific project requirements.
- Designing mine infrastructure including haul roads, stockyards, waste disposals, embankments, dykes, and quarry plans.
- Developing water management and drainage plans, including sediment ponds and related infrastructure.
- Creating dewatering, waste dump, WDK, and stockpile plans on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
- Ensuring mining activities adhere to targets in accordance with short-term plans and good mining practices.
- Developing plans for recontouring reclamation areas.
- Monitoring and communicating daily production plans and schedules to the operations team.
- Providing detailed weekly and daily planning data, including maps and production target figures.
- Scheduling the utilization and movement of mining equipment across all project sites.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in mine planning or related roles
- Bachelors Degree (S1) in Mine Engineering.
- Proficient in basic mining software, specifically Surpac and ArcGIS.
- Strong understanding of nickel mining processes and cut & fill project methodologies.
- Highly capable of coordinating effectively across different departments and teams.
- Proficient in calculating matching fleet configurations and monitoring unit work efficiency.
